Another aspiring tech disruptor hits Austin

callboxA North Texas company with a disruptive take on storage is expanding to Austin with a 40,000-square-foot lease of warehouse space.

Callbox Storage LLC recently signed for the space in Pflugerville, off Howard Lane east of I-35. The company did not want to reveal the exact location, citing security concerns. Adler Kawa Acquires Kramer 1-5 at Braker Center

Miami, FL-based real estate investment firm Adler Kawa Real Estate Advisors (AKREA) secured its first investment in Austin with the company’s acquisition of Kramer 1-5 at Braker Center (Kramer), a portfolio comprised of five single-story light industrial buildings that total 296,781 square feet on Kramer Ln.

Built in 1999 less than one mile from The Domain and the University of Texas-JJ Pickle Center, the Kramer business park buildings range in size from 50,012 square feet to 68,400 square feet and incorporate 21-foot clear heights and efficient floor plates. …Read Entire Post

Semiconductor maker inks huge manufacturing plant deal with UT

A complicated lease that took two years to finalize has been completed with Novati Technologies, which has signed a deal for 150,000 square feet of space with the University of Texas Board of Regents.

The seven-year lease for a manufacturing plant near Montopolis Drive and East Oltorf Street includes options for up to 13 years.

Renovations underway at former Sysco plant for California tenant

Major renovations are underway at the former Sysco Corp. facility north of Austin to house new headquarters for ProPortion Foods LLC.

The Los Angeles-based food company is expected to move into the property at 101 Chisholm Trail Road in Round Rock by the end of 2016.
