Whole Foods may be Expanding HQ

Whole Foods Market Inc. appears to be taking steps to expand its downtown Austin corporate headquarters to a development under construction across the street.

Whole Foods would occupy a second building that could be built at 835 W. Sixth St., where Schlosser Development Co. is building the Shoal Creek Walk office tower.

Stantec to move north for new Austin HQ

Stantec, the international engineering and design company, will occupy most of the new Diamond Building at Mueller. The move to 26,000 square feet at 1905 Aldrich St., expected to be completed by the end of the year, will house the majority of Stantec’s 150 Austin employees and allow for expansion to as many as 200.

HomeAway Building 16-Story Tower in Austin

$20M Facility Coming to Pflugerville

Flooring Services Southwest is relocating its Central Texas headquarters from Austin after closing on a 30-acre tract in the southern portion of the Commerce Center. The company bought the property from the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation, an economic arm of the city that receives funding through a portion of city sales tax revenue.

New $45 Million Home for Travis County Prosecutors

Named after the longstanding district attorney, the Ronald Earle Building is under construction at 416 W. 11th St. Austin DA building construction 2017

The seven-story, 125,007-sf structure, which includes underground parking, is scheduled to be finished in spring 2018. The total cost of the project is $45 million. The building will primarily serve county prosecutors.

High-rise development destined for another downtown Austin block

The Episcopal Church has selected Austin-based Cielo Property Group to partner in developing a church-owned block, with plans calling for a large mixed-use project, along with a permanent home for the church’s historical archives.
