Pollo Tropical closes 30 more stores

The parent company of the Pollo Tropical restaurant chain, Fiesta Restaurant Group, is shuttering 30 locations, including two in the Austin area, as it prepares to relaunch the brand.

Fiesta also owns the Taco Cabana chain of Tex-Mex fast-food restaurants. Five of the Pollo Tropical locations in Texas could be rebranded as Taco Cabana units.
