News group plans HQ facility at 130 Commerce Center

Community Impact Newspaper recently purchased five acres of land in the master-planned development at 130 Commerce Center to build a $2.5 million campus featuring a 16,000 square-foot corporate headquarters.  Construction of the facility located at the southwest corner of SH 130 and Pecan St. is expected to be complete by the end of next year. 

Upon completion, the 60 Pflugerville employees will vacate nearly 10,000 square feet of office space at 821 Grand Avenue Parkway in order to move into the new space.

Retail follows rooftops in Pflugerville

A growing housing market has spurred commercial development in Pflugerville.  Several new businesses are expected to open in the next year, including CVS Pharmacy, Kirkland’s, Chili’s and Hallmark. 

The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation and Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce anticipate dynamic growth.  New home permits in Pflugerville are up 21% and the city will reportedly have 650 new homes by December thanks to new communities like Falcon Pointe.

Construction to begin at 130 Commerce Center

Development Corporation (PCDC) recently announced that construction will begin this month on a 120,000-square-foot light industrial building at the 160-acre, master-planned, mixed-use development located at the southwest corner of SH 130 and Pecan Street in Pflugerville. The PCDC also announced the official name of the development, 130 Commerce Center, which was previously casually referred to as the Pflugerville renewable energy park.

Pflugerville lands data center campus

The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation recently announced that Arista Data Centers plans to build a $210 million data center campus with four to six buildings in Pflugerville.  The 500,000-square-foot data center campus will be located behind the Mansions of Stone Hill, a new $40 million, 370-unit apartment complex on Town Center Drive. NAI REOC Austin sells 42.6 acre Pflugerville tract

REOC Austin recently assisted in the sale of 42.6 acres on Heatherwilde Blvd. in Pflugerville, Texas. The site is located near existing and future mixed-use residential developments and is situated only one mile north of the Dell Computer Campus in Austin. 

The property will be developed as a K thru 12 parochial school operated by the Lutheran School Association.  The school will be perfectly positioned to serve the community with an academically-advanced private school.

Kurt VanderMeulen, Senior Vice President, and Joyce Jane Weedman, Senior Vice President, both with REOC Austin represented the seller – Otello Investment Management, LLC.  The Buyer was represented by Paul Joseph of Paul Joseph Commercial, Inc.

Buckeye International expands in Pflugerville

Rob Eaves of REOC Austin represented Buckeye International, Inc. in the lease of 4,800 square feet of warehouse space at 1500 Central Commerce Circle, Suite B in Pflugerville, TX, represented by Roy Beard of Vara Properties.  The transaction marks an expansion of operations for the Missouri-based janitorial supply company.
