95 acres near Austin airport to be transformed into industrial space

park183Trammell Crow Co. and Clarion Partners announced Monday that they will jointly build Park 183 — a nearly 1 million-square-foot industrial park at the southwest corner of U.S. Highway 183 and Burleson Road in Southeast Austin.

City moves forward with design for Downtown West development

Georgetown city staff is moving forward with detailed design work for Downtown West, a project that would consolidate city offices into a civic center just west of the Square, after receiving direction from City Council to proceed with a $13 million overall budget at its Aug. 23 workshop session.

The project, which was outlined in the city’s 2003 and 2014 downtown master plans, will repurpose the former library at 808 Martin Luther King Jr. St. to serve as City Hall, and the Georgetown Communications and Technology building at 510 W. Ninth St. would become the municipal court and City Council chambers. A green space would also be added. Medical Facility Development in Metro Austin

A Florida firm has purchased Riata Corporate Park, 12331 Riata Trace Pkwy, an eight-building office campus in Northwest Austin close to Apple Inc.’s new campus.

Accesso Partners, based in Hallandale Beach, Fla., acquired the 688,432-square-foot complex on 51 acres from Spear Street Capital, based in San Francisco. The purchase price was not disclosed. …Read Entire Post
