New headquarters coming to Austin.

The 13-year-old tech company, which last year reported helping cargo transporters big and small generate over $150 million in sales through its online marketplace, is constructing a three-story, 45,000-square-feet campus at 205 E. Riverside Drive.

Most of the new jobs to come online will be software developers and sales professionals, executives said. The company will stay put at two downtown sites — one on Brazos Street and one on Congress Avenue — until at least the end of the year.

This will be uShip’s seventh headquarters since starting in 2004 — though some past addresses have been coffee shops. The company has received more than $28 million in venture capital since its launch.

Matt Chasen is uShip’s CEO and founder. Earlier this year he was named a finalist in the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year contest. The company gained some additional notoriety from 2012 to 2015 when its contractors were the stars of an A&E Network reality show called “Shipping Wars.”
